Voices of Bokamoso was created after a trip to the Bokamoso Youth Center in the Summer of 2011.

Ariel Warmflash, creator of “Voices of Bokamoso”

Ariel is a theatre artist and activist based in Brooklyn, NY. She spent many years in Washington, DC at Arena Stage as a Teaching Artist with their Community Engagement Division. She has also worked with Smithsonian’s Discovery Theatre, Theater J and is a founding member of the Closer Look Arts Collective. Ariel is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Applied Theatre from the CUNY School of Professional Studies.

Derek Fowler, videographer

Derek is originally from Monaco and came to the US to attend American University in Washington, DC where he earned a BA in Communications/Visual Media Studies. He currently works as a videographer and editor for Reel-N-Motion.
